When can we get on the bus?
When a teacher is with us, on the bus.
How do we treat our classmates, teachers, therapists, and other museum guests?

Where do we keep our hands?
To ourselves.
What do we do when we need to use the restroom on a field trip?
Ask the teacher! They will take you to a restroom near the group.
When do we put on our seatbelts?
When the bus is on and in motion.
Is it okay to leave the teacher while on a field Trip?
NO! You must always stay with a teacher!
When other people are at the field trip do not follow directions, what should you do?
Be mindful and respectful. Give them space and stay with your group.
What if a teacher or therapist gets hurt on a field trip, what should you do?
All the students stay near the teacher/therapist, and follow instructions to call for help.
What volume should our voices be on the bus?
Quiet voices. The teacher needs to be able to listen for any emergency vehicles.
What can you buy while on a field trip?
You can bring $40 to purchase items from the gift shop.
When is it okay to leave the teacher or therapist's sight?
Never!
What if you bring a cell phone, laptop or electronic to school or the field trip? Can you use them?
No! electronics are not allowed on the field trip.
When can we take our seat belts off?
After the bus in turned off and the teacher lets you know that it is safe to take off your seatbelts.
How should we act while on a field trip?
We should be on our best behavior, we are representing our school while out in the community.
Can you leave the field trip if your parent shows up?
NO!! You need to stay with the teacher until you get back to school. Unless this was preplanned.
What should you do if you get separated from your group?
Find a museum employee and let them know immediately.
What can you eat or drink on the bus?
Nothing, nada, zippola, ziltch
What do you need to bring on a field trip?
A good attitude and up to $40 for the gift shop (if you want.)
What type of language should be used on the field trip?
Appropriate, no swearing.
What if you need a minute to re-group away from the group?
Let your group leaders know and they will help you with this.
