A fighting game on a flat plane of existence, you can only move left and right.
What is a 2d fighter?
Similar to a grappler, these characters are big and slow, but instead of wanting to grab you, they want to hit you as hard as they can.
What is a big body/bruiser? (anything I deem similar will be acceptable)
Damage dealt to a character while they are blocking.
What is chip damage?
This mysterious masked fighter was first introduced in 3rd version of 3rd instalment of the Street Fighter franchise, and we still know almost nothing about him.

This crossover platfighter features beloved icons from throughout video game history.
What is Super Smash Bros./ Smash
These fast pace 2d fighters often contain double jumping, air dashing, air blocking, bursting, and chain combos.
What are anime fighters?
Similar to a rushdown, these characters are fast, but they hit hard at the cost of having some of the lowest life possible and often die within a few hits/combos.
What is a glass canon?
Asking one of your off-screen characters in a team game to come on screen briefly and perform an action for you.
What is an Assist?
This leader of the Jellyfish pirates is often described as a ladies' man with his cool shades and katana.
Who is Johnny Guilty Gear?
This fighting game is a crossover between Blazblue, RWBY, Under Night In-Birth, and Persona.
What is Blazblue Cross Tag Batlle/BBTAG?
These fighting games allow you to switch between fighters at will and sometimes allow you to call them out on screen with you.
What are Tag Fighters?
These characters often contain multiple movesets and can change between them by inputting a command or by doing certain moves.
What is a stance character?
Removing the recovery of an attack, usually so that you can transition immediately into another move.

This magical girl was meant for a scrapped 3d Capcom crossover fighting game before eventually being put into later titles like Capcom Fighting Jam and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max.

This unkillable, vengeful, old man was somehow transported back in time to fight in this weapons based 3d fighter.

These fighting games work on a 3d plane and often have weaker jumps and juggle combos.
What is a 3d fighter?
A character that can do moves by doing the same input over and over again or pressing certain buttons after a move. For example, 236+P > 236+P > 236+P or 236+A> B> C > S
What is a rekka character?
Tagging into one of your teammates in a team game, but instead of having to perform the tag while your point character is in neutral, you instead can tag at any time, including while your point is doing other actions.

This character is an alternate reality version of the protagonist of this blue Arc System Works franchise and weilds the Bloodedge. (You will not get this, so I'll give a quick description and a hint: he has brown hair and wears a black jacket and black pants, and he shares the name with blue haired persona party member (should narrow it down to 3 characters so you have a 1/3 chance of getting it right)).
