What is location?
Usually taken at the beginning of the movie or when there is a location change, this shows the view of where the location is.
What is a long shot?
The ending of the film where all loose ends are tied
What is the resolution?
Usually through dialogue, something that will happen later in the story is revealed.
What is foreshadowing?
The person who PHYSICALLY controls what is being filmed.
What is a camera operator?
The clothes that the actors wear in order to make their role more believable and/or accurate
What are costumes?
When the camera is positioned so that it makes something appear smaller
What is a high-angle shot?
The most exciting part of the film where the hero fulfills their goal/destiny
What is the climax?
The motivation for the hero to carry on their quest
What is conflict?
The person responsible for making sure the actors stick as close to the written script as possible
What is a script supervisor?
The items used in a set in order to make it more believable.
What are props?
When the camera is positioned a certain way so that it makes the thing it's filmed look larger or more intimidating.
What is a low-angle shot?
The part of the film where the viewer meets the hero and other characters. This part also gives context to what is going to happen.
What is the exposition?
When an item or character is engrained with some other non-literal meaning.
What is symbolism?
The person responsible for creating the artificial environment in which the actors are filmed in.
What is a set designer?
The artificial features added to an actor's body in order to make their role more believable.
What are cosmetics?
When the camera follows an actor and moves with them
What is a tracking shot?
Occurs after the hero has fulfilled their destiny
What is the falling action?
The hero's position in relation to the story.
What is point of view/POV?
The person who has gone through the process of creating what the actors will say and do

A reoccurring theme, subject, or idea that is brought up multiple times within a film.
