How does the Find People option work?
Analyzes images and creates Keyword Collections based on the number of faces present and the type of shot

Moving a selected clip vertically out of the storyline and leaving a gap

Turns the skimmer into an “audio solo” skimmer

Allows you to position, rotate and scale video
What is Transcoding?
Optimizes media for better editing and rendering performance and color quality
Copies the original file using codecs and retains the original media file

Place a clip between two clips in the Timeline
The Skimmer or the Playhead marks the location for the edit

How do you use effects?

Drag desired effect to the clip
Adjust the look or sound of the effect in the Inspector Window
What is Dual Mono?
Copies a single audio channel into both left and right channels
Change to Dual Mono under Channel Configuration in the Audio Inspector
What is Mask?
A shape used to designate areas of an image as visible or transparent
What are the import options for dragging files?

What is the timeline index?
Displays a list of the clips in the Timeline with roles, tags, etc.
How do you add transitions?
To add a Transition to the Edit point, select the Edit point first
To add a Transition to both ends of the clip, select the entire clip first
To replace a Transition, drag the new Transition to the existing
What is Color Balancing?
turns automatic color balance correction on and off
If clip was Not-Analyzed: color correction is based on the frame under the playhead
If clip was Analyzed: color correction is based on the entire clip
What is Chroma Key?
Allows editor to replace a color with a different background (typically green or blue)
