The steps to take if you realize a camper is missing
what is remain calm, double check head counts, notify staff partner and get them to head count, ask campers if they have seen missing person, determine last known location and station someone there, have one leader stay with the group while the other searches dangerous areas/routes/likely locations (bathrooms, lobby, other camps), notify summer camp coordinator once check is complete/5 mins passed and camper not found, proceed with notifying building and starting lost child
