In Microsoft word, we often select a font typeface that we like. There are two general categories of typefaces: Serif fonts, and Sans Serif fonts. Describe the difference between each font typeface and give an example of each?
What is Serif fonts have a decorative line embellishment at the tip of the character. For example, Times Roman, Century, Palatino, Garmond.
A Sans Serif font, means "Without serif" and is a plain looking text good for use in Web Sites. For example, Arial, Geneva, Helvetica, Tahoma. It does not have the fancy serifs on the tip of each letter.
