Steps to respond
It's Friday Night at midnight, and a resident is stumbling down the hall and locks themselves in their room. Loud music can be heard from the room. Clanking cups and loud noises can be heard.
Steps to duty response:
1) Call ACD/RD
2) Knock on the door
3) Announce position
4) Ask the resident for ID
5) Explain Policies
6) If underage, instruct alcohol to be put in the middle of the room.
7) Take a photo of alcohol
8) Instruct residents to empty alcohol into the toilet
9) Have residents take out empties to the outside dumpster
10) Provide a post documentation card
11) Note the time RA's & ACD/RD left the scene/
12) Write Advocate IR.
