Slang - certain group/region, informal, words your grandma wouldn't understand (EX: "giving her the time," "tiffed" - Catcher)
Vernacular - certain region, informal, how everyone in that region speaks (EX: "chewing the fat," "shoot the bull" - Catcher)
Colloquialisms - use of informal words/sayings, not used as slang, in writing (EX: "grub" - to eat/what you eat)
