What did Joseph Smith say about the Book of Mormon?
It was the most correct book on earth, the keystone of our religion, and would bring us closer to God than any other book.
In addition to seeing an angel and seeing the plates, what other extraordinary thing happened to solidify the testimony of the 3 Witnesses?
Did any of them leave the church? Did any of them ever recant their testimony of the plates?
They also heard the voice of God
All 3 were excommunicated at one point. None of them ever recanted their testimony of the plates.
What was the process to receive the plates?
Saw the hill in vision, visited the hill, told to return every September for 4 years, received instructions on what the Lord was going to do, and how and in what manner his kingdom was to be conducted in the last days, warned to keep the plates safe and if he did so, he would be helped.

In regards to Babylon, what are we commanded to do?
Come out; do NOT partake of her sins/plagues.

The Book of Mormon is to convince Jew & Gentile what?
That Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations.

We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true.
