Should we hold clients' hands during Fire Drills and/or Emergencies?
No, the clients should be able to evacuate the building without assistance. If a client needs assistance, we should do whatever we need to get them out of the building.
Who does a final scan of the program area to ensure all clients have exited?
The Production Manager, Program Supervisor, and/or Program Director.
Who should support clients that need extra support during Fire Drills and/or Emergencies?
DSPs should support the clients that need it, ask for help if needed. We will all work together to keep clients and staff safe.
