How do you treat a burn?

Rinse under cool water 10 min, apply lotion (preferably with aloe vera or cocoa butter), cover loosely with a clean dressing. 

Note: Electrical burns, including those caused by lightning, and major chemical burns need emergency medical care. Also burns involving multiple skin layers, burns larger than 3 inches in diameter, and burns accompanied by smoke inhalation.
