2. Hold your fist tight with your other hand.

Make smart decisions near a fire or stove. Clear hazards from the site near a fire or stove. Limit the amount of people gathered near a fire or stove. Make sure the person handling a fire or stove has their Firem'n Chit/is properly trained.
