Why do we need to know first aid?
So that we can help ourselves, or someone else, if we are sick or hurt.
What are some things you might accidentally do that could cause a burn??
- spilling a hot drink
- touching hot food
- getting too close to a camp fire

Mr Mitchell, was trying to make Mr Gigliotti coffee during Third block health class; and he slipped and spilled hot water all over his arms and legs. Their wasnt any towel around four he two use, but their was ice. Mr. Mitchell grabbed the ice and put it on the burn
Good idea or bad idea????
Bad idea. You don't want to put ice on burns after it happens (cool water, on a towel if you have it).
