Give them another dose in the other nostril

Can I place both adult & child AED pads on an adult?
NO- Adult pads can go on both, =but child pads can only go on a child. Voltage is not enough in the child pads for an adult
Will an AED shock someone every time/no matter what?
NO-only those who need it
What is the procedure if someone has a seizure?
Always protect their head, call 911- after they are done seizing, put them on their sides in case of vomit
If you have two people available to give CPR (child/infant) what changes?
15 compressions & 2 breaths

When can you switch when you have two people available to give CPR?
Every 2 minutes/when someone is extremely tired

Adult- Upper Right, Lower Left
Child- Sandwiched- one in front, one in back (center)
Sling & Swathe- BOTH TEAMS-
whichever team can complete it first!
