When we use the first conditional?
We use the first conditional to talk about possible situations
If you don’t help me, I won’t pass the exam tomorrow.
he be slim/ he be more attractive.
If he were slim, he would be more attractive.
When we don't use the COMMA?
NO COMMA when you put the main clause at the beginning
My dad … (be able) to repair my bike if he … (find) his tools
My dad will be able to repair my bike if he finds his tools
I pick the children up/ I am not busy.
I would pick the children up if I were not busy.
When we use the second conditional?
The second conditional is used to imagine present or future situations that are impossible or unlikely in reality.
If you (to wear) sandals in the mountains, you (to slip) on the rocks
If you wear sandals in the mountains, you will slip on the rocks

I’d buy this laptop if I had enough money.

If + present simple, will/won't + verb.

To make a sentence in the second conditional,
If + past simple, would/wouldn't + verb.

If he invites me, i will buy a present
