A group of people who make up the Church, believe in God, follow the teachings of Christ and pray together.

Talking to God either out loud (like at Mass) or quietly in your heart.

An outward sign you can see, that helps you become closer to God.
What is a sacrament?
Yes, some are more serious than others.
Jesus taught His followers about good and bad, how to live with and treat each other, and God.
Are some sins worse than others?
To know Him and to love Him in this life and to be happy with Him in heaven.
Why did God create me?
God is everywhere and God loves us.
What does the Church teach us about God?
A collection of books that tell us stories about God and men and women who served God throughout all of human history.
What is the Bible?
Baptism, Penance, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Holy Orders, Marriage and the Anointing of the Sick.
What are the seven sacraments?
In the story of Creation from the Bible, God made us in His image when he created Adam and Eve. Then the first man and woman disobeyed God by eating from the Tree of Life. This was the first sin. This is why Adam and Eve were sent out of the Garden of Eden. After they were expelled, God promised to restore friendship with us.
What is Original Sin?
God is all powerful, all knowing, and everlasting.
What do we know about God?
Something we don’t know much about. We study and try to find out more since we don’t know everything about God.
What is a mystery?
There are two parts.
How many parts are there to the Bible?
This sacrament takes away the sins we committed after Baptism. We tell God we are sorry, and God forgives us through the words of the priest.
What is Penance?
We learn that God made man, and Adam and Eve disobeyed him. We learn that when we offend God, we must say we are sorry.
We learn that we have to rebuild friendships with each other.
What do we learn about the story of Creation?
The bible tells us what we need to know about God.
How do we know about God?
Jesus taught us that God is called “Father,” “Son,” and “Holy Spirit
What is the Blessed Trinity?
The Old Testament tells us about the time before Jesus and the New Testament that tells us about the stories and teachings of Jesus.
What are the two parts of the Bible?
This sacrament is our holy meeting with Jesus through the Eucharist. It is a time we pray for ourselves and for each other. It is a sign to remember Jesus and His promise to remain with us forever.
What is Holy Communion?
To teach people about God, how to live as friends of God and help each other. He also taught us what was good and bad in God’s eyes.
Why did God send Jesus to Earth?
The son of God and the Virgin Mary.
