Compromise. Communicate. Offer an idea or offer to help. You don't have to be everybody's best friend, but everybody appreciates a person who offers to get the job done.

Help them. You would want them to do that for you. We are a family in here. If you hear about it, DONT REPEAT IT! Retelling a rumor only hurts the victim more, and nobody wants that.
