WHICH ARE THE TYPES OF DYNAMICS?
MENTION SOMETHING ABOUT EACH ONE
Presentation dynamics: these techniques facilitate a first approach between the members of the group. The goal is to learn the names and some characteristics of each one.
Trust dynamics: allow group members to share information about themselves, seeing the points in common and the differences.
Emotions dynamics: it is important that each person learns to become aware of her own feelings and express them properly. Besides, with the emotions dynamics, they develop their empathy.
Self-esteem dynamics: the objective is that each person becomes aware of what he thinks and feel about himself. Each person should know her possibilities and limitations to face them in a positive way.
Cohesion and collaboration dynamics: they try to strengthen the confidence in the group. It is about each person finding his/her place in the group, acquiring security in himself/herself and in his/her relationship with others.
Social skills and conflict resolution dynamics: the purpose is to acquire the necessary strategies to resolve conflicts in a dialogued way, without shouting or violence. It is about being able to listen and defend your own interests with arguments.
MENTION 3 ADVANTAGES OF TEAM WORK
The presence of various professionals provides the plurality of proposals and broadens the perspective of labour.
• The responsibility of outcomes is shared between all members.
• Attention levels are elevated through informal learning and mutual influence
• A higher degree of personal and social satisfaction is produced.
• Increase the participation and commitment.
- Adapt an existing dynamic: the adaptation can be very effective because knowing the group, the results can be even more satisfactory than the original.
- Create a dynamic: it requires more experience, but the results can be spectacular.
EXPLAIN THE STAGES OF GROUP LIFE
Orientation stage: the orientation stgae signifies a time where the group is just starting to come together and is characterized with both anxiety and uncertainty. Group members tend to act independently and are cautious with their behaviour, which is driven by the want to be accepted by all members of the group. Any conflict, controversy or personal opinions are often avoided.
- Standard-setting stage: during this stage, the group is going to establish the rules and each member will want to participate. Gradually, they will specify the roles of each member of the group. The length of this stage will vary depending on the group. It is a stage in which the group responsibility and the efficiency of the group is established.
- Efficiency and integration stage: Disagreements may occur, but are now resolved within the team positively. Decisions are taken by consensus and they develop a strong sense of group identity. Each member has her/his own needs satisfied, so they can develop their creativity.
- Final stage: once they have achieved their goals, the group will be dispersed. If the group wants to persist, they will have to establish new goals.
IN WHAT CONSIST THE DISNEY STRATEGY?
The dreamer: in this phase the participants expose all the ideas that come to their minds no matter how impossible they are.
The realist: an analysis of the previous ideas to discard those that do not contribute to the project.
The critic: evaluates what the project needs and the points that were not taken into account.
