take the amount of credits in the degree, subtract from the amount a credits a student may have coming in with transfer credits prior enrollment credits. see if they are part time or full time. 6 credits in a term =36 potential credits in a year. estimate based on what approved for FA to get your total.

When do we register a 0.0 student out?
when they are passing their classes they can be registered out into the next term.
What is a pending credit? Do you account for these when registering students?
Yes. Pending credits have been reviewed by EMC and approved however they are still waiting for the official transcripts from the other university.
A student is UFing both classes. How should they be registered in the next term.

MGT105 then HRM201. Each are pre-reqs to each other and all other future courses. Cannot be taken together due to pre-req requirements.

If a student is F one class and Uf'ing another how should they be registered in the next term?
Part time. But can be full time if student is adamant and FA will cover.
What should you do if a student is interested in coming back but the advisor on file is listed as Re-Entry Specialist or one of the SAP advisors is listed?
Can a student take a minor? If so how?
Yes, however they need to have enough open credits within their degree to be able to fit in the applicable classes for the minor.
Why would a SAP student be treated differently from a 0.0 student?
SAP students will not be automatically dismissed and will need to achieve pace and gpa requirements within the two terms given from the SAP department. Need to use the Warning plans and Dismissals list to see where the student is at and what they will need to achieve.
How do you check for pre-requisite requirements?
Check the course catalog. Check the eval as most classes will show pre-req requirements on the eval under the course name.
If a student is part time but receiving a UF how can you register in the next term?
Student has to be full time. Connect with FA to verify this is an available option.
A student was originally in class in Term 4 and coming back in Term 1. What would be the parent term for this student?

What is the difference between a certificate in Paralegal studies and pursuing the AS or BS in Legal studies?
Paralegal studies focuses on all major core requirements for the legal classes. AS and BS require the rounded full degree including liberal arts math, science etc.
Can we register a student coming back on appeal or place them in re-entry? And how can we check to see if this student is coming back on appeal?
NO. Only SAP advisors can register students coming back on appeal. Sam Bisignano places students with approved appeals in re-entry.
Check to see in Documents if a student is currently in re-entry to see if an approved appeal is on file. Check the schedule to see if they are registered. If not registered, connect with a SAP advisor. If not in re-entry but with an approved appeal, notify Sam Bisignano the student was inquiring.
What is the difference between an EC and an EMC?
Enrollment Coordinators (EC) validate the receipt of an official transcript from other universities.
Enrollment Matriculation Coordinators (EMC) are tasked by the ECs with the officials and get the transfer evaluations together.
If a student has a conferred Associates Degree from Post that wants to come back do they stay with first term? If not what are the steps to take?
Task eval, register student, and let your AD know the student has a Conferred AS degree.
If a student is an inactive but on academic warning and wants to change their major. Is this possible?
NO! Students on academic warning cannot change their major until they are officially off of warning.
