  • Send an email or text to your available substitutes AND 

  • Call or text down the instructor phone list

  • Confirm your substitute at least 48 hours before your class time

  • Email the Associate Director, Graduate Assistant, and FitWell Class Supervisor to inform them of the change.

  • Arriving late for a shift or meeting with no advanced notice.

  • Failing to wear a complete uniform, or wearing it inappropriately.

  • Missing a staff meeting or other staff functions (without a pre-excused absence).

  • Failing to complete a Peer Evaluation

  • Failing to find a sub for your shift, including regular shifts (such as sessions with clients or fitwell classes) or volunteer shifts.

  • Failing to submit payroll in a timely manner

  • Misuse of department computers, phones, copiers and other supplies or equipment.

  • Unprofessional conduct.

  • Failing to check-in patrons to classes
