What is:
Mild: Redness extending beyond 1/4" from the wound, warmth, mild swelling, tenderness, and pus formation.
Severe: Heat, swelling, discoloration, pain, increased pus formation, red streaking from the wound to the nearest lymph node, swollen lymph nodes, general malaise, and fever.
* Wash with soap and warm water, make a paste of epsom salts and water to draw infection out, closely monitor, keep clean and dry, evacuate if symptoms do not improve within 12-24 hours
