What is backdating insurance and how do you do it?
Health insurance can be backdated to cover past medical bills as long as you can provide proof of income during that time period.
Submit pay stubs from the months of the medical bills and ask for the bills to be re-run through insurance once it has been accepted through Forward Health.

What is your HMO and why is it important?
HMO- specific health insurance carrier
Hospitals/Clinics/Dentist/Chiropractors/Therapists will only accept certain HMOs. Its important to check that they accept yours before scheduling an appointment. If they do not accept the HMO your insurance will not work there.

To verify you have a job and for them to adjust your benefit amount based on your income.

A phone call where you verify your information and make sure your case is up to date. A chance to submit any necessary paperwork to keep your case open.

What is the FSET Program?
Food Share Employment Training
To be eligible for food share benefits you must be working at least 80hrs/month.
If you do not have a job you will be required to participate in the FSET program.
They assist with job skills, searches, resume's, job training etc. If you do not meet the work requirement you will only be eligible for food share benefits for 3 months in a 36 month time span.
You are EXEMPT if you are homeless, in high school or have a child under 18.
