What happened in Muzan's past?
Muzan was very sick at the age of 19. He would have died before his 20th birthday, so he killed his doctor and the medicine started to work. This turned him into a demon so he could no longer touch the sun, therefore he wanted to conquer the sun but realized too late that the only person who could tell him where the blue spider lily was was his doctor. He searched all of Japan, there was no sign of the blue spider lily, so he found the one demon who was able to conquer the sun...Nezuko.

What happened in Akaza's past?
When Akaza was 12, he would sneak out to steal medicine for his dying father. Every time he got caught he would get a tattoo, and eventually his father died. He left town and met a man, he tried to fight the man because he thought he would hurt him. The man ended up becoming his trainer, and took him to his home to introduce him to his daughter, Koyuki. One day, when Hakuji (Akaza) was drinking water, another kid threatened that if he messed with Koyuki someone will poison the water. Hakuji proposed to Koyuki, but a few days later the water was poisoned and killed Koyuki and her father. He was so mad that he started punching people so hard he would break their ribs. He met Muzan a few days later and tried to fight him, but ended up being turned into a demon.
Why does Muzan hate Yoriichi?
Because Yoriichi made Muzan pee his pants from trying to kill him.

What happened in Gyomei's past?
Gyomei was an orphan, and had no family except for the kids he helped. He was blind but they still respected him. Every night they had to put wisteria flower outside so the demons would not come to their house. The rule was to be home by 9:00 pm, but one of the boys broke the rules. The demon told the boy, Kaigaku, that if he let him in the house he would spare his life. Kaigaku let the demon in, and it killed all of the children except one little girl. Gyomei protected the girl and ended up killing the demon. The little girl mistakenly told the police that it was Gyomei who had killed them. Ubuyashiki came and trained Gyomei how to be a demon slayer.

What is Doma's real name?
Doma doesn't have a real name (his parents never gave him a name since they thought he was a god).
Why can't Muzan find the blue spider lily?
Because it only blooms twice a year in the daytime and they went extinct because of the Hashibira family (Doma, Kotoha and Inosuke).
What is Doma's backstory?
When Doma was born, his parents did not give him a name because they thought he was sent from above and called him "god." Doma's father was not a good man, and had gotten mixed up with female cult followers. His mother was one of the cult followers and stabbed his father to death, and then went crazy and poisoned herself. Doma said he didn't care or feel sad, that he has always had a hard time feeling human emotions, and became a demon when he was 20.
