Miss Kayla is pushing a toy car on two surfaces, a wooden floor and a carpet. Which surface has more friction? Why?
The rug will have more friction, because it is not a smooth, flat surface. It is bumpy and the wheel will not be able to spin as quickly as on the wood.
How is water resistance similar to normal surface friction?
Slows you down.

Air resistance keeps a parachuter from going to fast, but if a parachuter wanted a more thrilling and exciting ride, what could they do so they could go faster?
They could use a smaller parachute. This would cause less air resistance and speed them up!
