Why did the Articles of Confederation fail?

The central government was too weak. It had no real power over the states and could not impose taxes on them. This lead to a lack of funds for the central government and weakened the economy.

The first amendment guarantees the freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition. The second amendment guarantees the right to bear arms.
