Mrs. Campbell argues that the union and other schedules will be messed up if the classes are switched among the teachers. Ms. Gruwell says she only wants to teach these students because they are like family, not to create problems. Mrs. Campbell tells Ms. Gruwell that if the students fail, its because she failed them.

His brother go to jail and he misses school. He gives himself an F for the class. Ms. Gruwell tells him to regrade himself.
What story does Miep Gies tell?
She tells the story of August 4th. She says she always thinks about it and that Anne was screaming. She tried to gather materials to bribe the police who were taking Anne and her family away. Miep Gies had a gun pointed at her head and is only alive because a guard recognized her accent.
