What is a transcript?
Beginning with the Class of 2025, Oklahoma students have a requirement to take this 100 question test using the questions from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website. The law requires that students get at least 60 of the 100 questions correct in order to graduate.
United States Naturalization Test
This is a program in the state of Oklahoma that allows students to attend an Oklahoma college TUITION FREE for FOUR YEARS, but parents must sign their child up for it in 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade.

This 5 letter acronym is given to the program in which most people commonly call "financial aid". It is a way to get funding for college or vocational schools and students apply for it beginning October of the senior year.

This is a degree requiring four years of full-time college work (at least 120 credit hours).

What are semester grades?
This 5 letter acronym is used to refer to a test that students have the opportunity to take as a student at Stigler High School during 10th, 11th, and 12th grade- it is known by many as a military entrance exam. This test also is a great tool for career exploration.
What is ASVAB?
The counselors at Stigler High School can give a student in grades 11 and 12 (who meet certain income guidelines or other specific guidelines) a document called this, which will cover the amount due for the college entrance exam. Students can take the test for free (up two times) before graduation using one of these.
What is an ACT fee waiver?
This is the minimum percentage grade that you can make in a class and still receive credit.
What is 60%?
This is a degree requiring two years of full-time college work (at least 60 credit hours).
What is an Associate's Degree?
This is what happens when a student fails a course (receives an F) in which he/she needs for graduation.
What is repeat the course?
This state mandated test is administered to juniors in the state of Oklahoma in the month of April. Students also can take this test at national testing locations and use the score as a requirement to enroll at college. the exam is abbreviated with an acronym containing 3 letters.
What is the ACT?
The college entrance exam (that most students at Stigler High School take) will cost this amount and must be paid online when registering using a credit/debit card. ( Answer must be within $1 to get points!)

This is the amount of credit that a student can earn for 1 semester in a class.
What is .5 (or 1/2) credit?
A student who is interested in earning a certificate or training for a job such as a welder, mechanic, nurse assistant (and new for next year plumber) can attend this place in Stigler during their junior and/or senior year.
What is the Stigler Kiamichi Technology Center (Career Tech)?
You will see these two letters on your academic record when you pass a class, but do not receive credit for the class, due to low attendance.
What is NG (No Grade)?
This is the name given to a college entrance exam given as a special situation on a college campus. A benefit of taking this test is that a person receives his/her score usually within 1 day of testing. The disadvantage of this test is that the score only counts at that particular college.
What is a residual ACT?
This is a program that 9th - 12th grade students can join (sponsored by Carl Albert State College) by completing an application that can be requested by the school counselor. This program provides many benefits to its student members, with one benefit being assistance with paying for college entrance exam fees.
