A figure of speech using like/as to compare unlike things

A poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word/message

Words and phrases that imitate sound

Two lines, back to back, that rhyme
Enjambent Line
The continuation o a sentence/clause over a line break, the thought runs from one line to the next

The author's feeling toward something - look at word choice to determine
Lyric Poetry
A poem that expresses thoughts and feelings of a speaker, often in very musical verse.
Alitteration
