Equivalent Ratio
two ratios are equivalent if you can multiply each of the numbers in the first ratio by the same factor to get the number in the second ratio.
You paint your room green by using the paint recipe 2 cups of blue paints to 3 cups of yellow paint. You decide to paint your bathroom the same color but your bathroom is large and you will need 2 batches of green paint. Your new recipe should be 4 cups of blue paint and 6 cups of yellow paint.
