What is anterior?
First major site of chemical digestion in the frog.
What is stomach?
The part of the body that carries oxygenated blood to the cells. Takes blood AWAY from the heart.
What are the arteries?
The tool that is used in dissection for pointing to structures and lifting structures without puncturing them.
What is the blunt end probe?
tail end of the body
What is caudal?
Major organ in the respiratory system. Hint: they look like deflated balloons
What are lungs?
Small, green organ that looks like a booger and store bile.
What is gall bladder?
This is the name of the membrane in the frogs' eye.
What is the nictating membrane?
This dissection tool is used to handle the specimen and looks like tweezers
What is forceps?
Anatomy term for close to, or toward.
What is proximal?
The cloaca (sewer) is at the end of this organ.
What is large intestine?
Spaghetti shaped structures that have a bright orange or yellow color
