What are executive / leadership position support and special emphasis programs / partnerships?
When the Federal Employees Clean Air Incentive Act, was signed into law in 1993, it permanently authorized Federal participation in this program, resulting in its expansion throughout the Department of Transportation and other Federal agencies. The Executive Order 13150, signed into law in April 2000, called upon DOT, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of Energy to implement a nationwide pilot program, and ascertain its effectiveness in reducing single occupancy vehicle travel and local area traffic congestion. In 2005, the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient, Transportation Equity Act required Federal agencies to implement this programs for all eligible employees.

For over 60 years, members of the Federal community have contributed to charities by giving nearly $8.7 billion to help those in need locally, across the nation, and throughout the world. This is one of the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaigns, with 36 zones throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year. Every year, SBA employees come together to raise money and volunteer for our favorite charities, spreading happiness around one gift at a time.
