Forbearance is important when waiting on God's timing. 1 Peter 5:6-7 reminds us humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

In Mark, Jesus is crossing this sea through stormy waters and the disciples were afraid.  The disciples woke up Jesus and Jesus commanded the waters to be calm.  Jesus can calm the stormy waters of our lives just the same.

Forbearance is being patient with difficult people.  Ephesians 4:2 reminds us we must practice forbearance, being humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in this.

We can't produce these fruits on our own, it requires the strength of this through us to be able to demonstrate these fruits.

This word is used to describe God's unconditional, sacrificial love for mankind.

It is a deep inner gladness and contentment that comes from a relationship with God.  It is a spiritual attitude rooted in hope, faith, and trusting God's promises, even during trials.

In John 16:33 Jesus reminded us that in this world we would have this, but that through him, we can have peace.

In Peter 2:23, we are reminded that this man did not retaliate when insults were hurled at him.  when he suffered, he made no threats.  He was patient and trusted himself to God.
