What do ALL essays have to have?
What is an introduction paragraph (that introduces the topic and sets up the organization of the essay), main idea paragraphs (that elaborate and explain ideas), a conclusion paragraph (restates main ideas and leaves an impact on the reader).
How are citations different from elaboration?
What is evidence is pulled from the text. Elaboration is when you take the evidence and apply it in some way. It is also using creative ways to do it.
