This section of the rubric looks to see if your responded with the correct mode of writing (either opinion or explanatory/informational).

This type of writing expresses the writer's point of view.

This sentence comes towards the beginning of your response and tries to capture your reader's attention.

This is the 3rd step of the writing process where you look for text evidence.

This section of the rubric looks to see if you have stayed on topic and have your response organized into multi-paragraphs.

In this type of writing, the author uses facts, definitions and details about a topic.

This is where you look at your coded text evidence and see how you can group it into 2 body paragraphs to write down.
