When you take the water out of fruit, such as with dried fruit, you get a concentrated source of nutrients and calories. This makes it easier to eat more calories since dried fruits are smaller and typically eaten in larger quantities than fresh fruit. Also, dried fruits are sometimes made with added sugar.
Both are good sources of fiber and nutrients, just keep an eye out for portion size!
Are fresh vegetables healthier than frozen vegetables?
No!
Frozen vegetables are picked at their peak when their nutritional value and freshness are optimal. Much of their nutrients are preserved making them as nutritious, if not more nutritious, then fresh vegetables.
