The seed is also receivers of this promise to Abraham and is carried through by THE Seed which is Jesus, and through Him, we are the inheritance of God as his Children

Hagar represents seeking to be saved by our own efforts. Sarah represents the grace that comes from God. She trusted God's promise, just as we trust God to save us by His work in Christ.
