Debuting in 2013, this seven-member South Korean group known worldwide for hits like "Dynamite," "Butter," became an obsession for Gamali in middle school so much so that she's a school award-winner for a painting she created that was heavily inspired by the group.

Despite not being a superfan, her song track "Twilight Zone" healed some part of me during the concert. I left my shift exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster I didn't sign up for.

This singer, known for her futuristic pop sound, collaborated with Troye Sivan for their SWEAT tour. By a pure miracle and $900 available, Gamali attended the tour and enjoyed BRAT summer.

This golden retriever from Sanrio is known for his brown beret, loves pudding, and shares his name with a popular Japanese dessert.
Pompompurin
With the Dustdevils as their mascot, this public university is a member of the Texas A&M University System. I was featured in multiple commercials and advertisements for this university as both student and staff. Yes, some of those ads are still used to this day.

One Tuesday night while waiting for Barbarella's to open, Gamali and her roommate ventured out to this Austin street that's divided into areas such as West 6th, East 6th. They had too much fun riding a mechanical bull at one of the bars that they were technically banned from it for the night.

This Queen of Pop became my personal enemy as we had completely sold-out water with customers fainting due to her request to keep the venue at 85° F to maintain her singing voice. We needed something "Like a Prayer" as we were "One Step Away" from fainting ourselves at her "Danceteria" that night.

The fandom had waited nearly two decades for this actor to reprise his role as both hero and villain to this intergalactic saga. He's well known that there is a FIG named after his character. With his comeback, Gamali spent her check to attend her first Spacecon in cosplay and had a meet & greet with this actor.

This downtown street has also been a longtime center of Austin’s LGBTQ+ nightlife scene, featuring iconic clubs like Oilcan Harry’s, Highlands Lounge and helping make the area a hub for the city’s queer community. You will usually see me here most weekends either watching drag shows or dancing the night away until 3am for Whataburger.

Despite the concert being sold out, Gamali checked out the ticket site on a whim and sobbed hysterically when she got a ticket. She then spent the whole evening singing, crowd surfing and chanting "black hearts" while it rained pink and black confetti; colors dedicated to this artist.

The Amazing Digital Circus
After a monumental life shift, Gamali decided to face her fear of needles and visited a tattoo shop for her first tattoo. Despite being terrified, she didn't cry (yay) and was able to get a thigh tattoo covered in her favorite tiny blue flowers for remembrance. What is this flower?
Forget Me Nots
Home to the Seismic Dance Event, this Austin space is a favorite among EDM fans and has hosted major names in electronic music for the rave community. This is also the location that I somehow ended up being in a disco rave music video that has over 500k views.
The Concourse Project
Gamali experienced her first near death experience at this band's concert while working on the floor pit. She witnessed EMT perform CPR on a person while assisting in sales for other customers just two feet away. The band's use of violin melodies to its energetic guitar-driven sound in their breakout song "Ocean Avenue" added to this scene.
Yellowcard
They were Gamali's very first concert experience. She drove from Laredo to San Antonio in 20°F weather in snow sleet with her best friend to attend the concert. This boyband performed their 2017 album "Saturation Trilogy" that helped launch the group into mainstream attention with tracks like "BOOGIE" and "GUMMY".
