A meaningful memory is when I was newly pregnant and new to the Nicklow family. The first thanksgiving came, and I was having a hard time. We stayed at the Cooks home and Paula and Aaron gave us their master bed to sleep in for the weekend so I would have somewhere comfortable to sleep. They were the hands and feet to us in that first tough season.

"Geoff and I have so many life giving memories from our days together with Christ the King, but one that stands out that may be surprising is from an advent festival one year. We were meeting at the school and keeping the lasagnas warm in one of the School heating trays. As we were taking them out to serve, we dropped not one, not two, but THREE pans of lasagna on the floor! And we still had enough to feed everyone. We were a community of abundance and generosity, and the two of you helped set the tone for that. We are forever grateful for those years."
