You can play one card when it matches either the colour or number or if you have a wild card. If you cannot play, you must take a card from the centre pile.
UNO
The aim of the game is to collect as many pairs as possible - two cards the same.
A player can either take a card or skip.
Pairs
When someone turns up a card that matches a card already faced up on another player's pile, the first person to notice the two matched cards shouts...
Snap!
Players alternate until one player gets 4 checkers of one colour in a row.
The 4 can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
Connect 4
Each tile has two sets of numbered dots. Players must match tiles with the same number of dots and continue until they cannot go anymore.
Dominos
Players role two dice to move around the game board, buying and trading properties and developing them with houses and hotels. Players collect rent from opponents. The aim is to make the other players bankrupt.
Monopoly
This is a board game where the aim is to get to the space that says 'home'.
You may encounter ladders which you can climb up or snakes that you have to slide down.
This makes the game harder.

A game made up of blocks, creatures and community. You can build or create anything you like!
Minecraft
Players can only hit the ball with the flat side of their stick. They cannot use their feet or other body parts to control the ball.
You can score a goal from inside the 'striking circle' in front of the opponents goal.
Hockey
Put 5-10 glass balls into the centre and use your shooter ball to to try to knock out as many balls as you can.
Marbles
The defender will say 'HIT' or 'MISS'.
The aim is to work out where the enemy ships are and sink them.
Battleships
Played by individuals over an 18 hole course.
Each player is allowed 14 golf clubs.
The aim of the game is to hit the ball into the hole, using the fewest amount of shots.
Golf
You must arrange the cards into a sequence and by suit from ace to king.
The aim is to get rid of all your cards.
This game is played alone.
Solitaire
2 teams with 11 players. Each team has a goal keeper who can handle the ball and stop the opposite team from scoring.
The aim of the game is get the ball into the opposite team's goal to win as many points as possible.
You must also defend your own goal to stop the other team from scoring.
Football
First-shooter video game. Firstly, the games were set in World War 2 but now there are lots of games based in different settings.
Call of Duty
Make sure you have 7 'tiles' before each go.
Then make words from the dictionary in a horizontal row or a vertical column.
The aim of the game is to be the first to use up all the 'tiles'.

Cluedo
Hit a ball from one player to another, over a net. It can be played individually against another player or in pairs against another pair.
Tennis
The aim of the game is to win the 'pot'. This pot can be won by having the highest-ranking hand or by making a bet that no other player calls.
Poker
Players are divided into two teams and 1 team is chosen to throw the 'jack'.
Each team takes it in turns to throw the larger balls, trying to get as close to the 'jack' as possible.
Petanque
A board game where the winner is the player who answers the most trivia and popular culture questions.
Trivial Pursuit
The 'whites' move first, then the other player moves. It is always required to make a move when it is your turn.
The play continues until a king is checkmated, a player resigns or a draw is declared.
Chess
It is a playground game. One player draws 8-10 squares alternating 1,2,1,2.
An object is thrown within one square and each player must take it turns to jump from one foot to two feet in order to collect the object.
Hopscotch
Each player takes one of 24 face cards and places it out of sight of the other player.
The aim of the game is to find out which face is on the other player's card.
Players take it in turn to ask yes or no questions about the character's appearance.
Guess Who?
Players are split up into teams.
One player from a team sketches a picture representing the word written on a card. Their team mate must try to guess the word within 1 minute.
