(PlayStation) The sharp, rendered graphics create the illusion of 3D in this 2D game. The characters are large, which is a plus, but the bright explosions occasionally muddle the screen. 4.5
What is "Skeleton Warriors"?
(Saturn) Excellent smacks, slashes, and other sounds of carnage enhance the fighting. Some of the characters' grunts and groans (like [blank]'s) sound a bit funny though. 4.0

(Saturn) You still get that cool rolling maneuver, but the control is nowhere as good as [blank]'s. Pulling off combos and special moves feels amateurish. 3.0

(Saturn) Unfortunately, these poor, simpering graphics have no place in a next-gen machine. Colorful doesn't always mean clean, and there are plenty of jagged edges, pixelated fighters, and breakup. 2.5

(PlayStation) All the grunts, smacks, and victory chants are discernable, even though most are spoken in foreign tongues. With jazzy and upbeat rock tunes, the music is also a plus 4.0

(SNES) Don't eat or drink anything for a half an hour before you play this innovative game. Although the gameplay is unique, it might make you quest. The gimmick here is the fast-moving screen, which quickly rotates under [blank] to create mind-numbing visuals. After awhile, this isn't a game you play, it's a game you endure.
