What is the BRE?

The Business Rules Engine (commonly referred to as the BRE) stores all form rules. It is essentially just an excel spreadsheet with all of the form rules written out, and it is uploaded into Salesforce and applied to all DCIs.

What is a case?

Case records track and manage customer issues/requests so staff can effectively communicate with them to meet their needs. Cases for IES Global will allow students, faculty and other partner staff to raise issues and have the appropriate staff member(s) assist in resolving them. Cases are used to log incoming communication, while outgoing communication is stored in Interactions.

What is an Application Detail Record?

Contains details and form answers of the student’s completed form. The Application Detail record will be attached to a Document Checklist Item (DCI) when the DCI is a FormAssembly form. This record will contain mapped data from a student’s submitted Document Checklist Item (DCI), as well as submission information and submitted responses to a form. GEM will also use the Visa, Immigration, and Travel Application Detail Records to log Visa/ACCeSS information.
