What happens if you turn in an assignment a day late?

You will receive a 10% deduction for each day your assignment is turned in late. 

If a student communicated 24-hours beforehand about late work, they can receive up to a week extension (depends on the situation and type of assignment). After that, they will receive a 10% point deduction for each day. 

If student did not communicate beforehand about late work, they will receive a 10% deduction for each day it is late.

What is the purpose of this course?

FIG serves to create academic learning communities for students new to UW and provides information about university, co-curricular, and academic resources.

How do you receive credit for this course?

To receive credit, you must earn a minimum of 80% of the total points possible for assignments and 80% of the total points possible for class engagement.

What is the purpose of Mapping to Project assignment?

This assignment helps you explore what you want to make out of your time at the UW. You will reflect on personal and professional goals, as well as explore campus resources, involvements, and who you want to engage with at the UW. In addition, you will reflect on what a meaningful undergraduate experience looks like for you.
