Elder Hugo E. Martinez of the Seventy taught that striving to be self-reliant is part of our work along the covenant path. It will strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ. Children and youth can learn self-reliance as they make goals in these four areas of the Children and Youth Development program.

Elder Gay E. Stevenson taught Church members today are invited to heed the same commission the resurrected Savior told His apostles. This is the commission (hint, Matthew 28:19).

Elder Ronald A. Rasband invited Latter-day Saints to champion this cause by saying, "The good of religion, its reach and the daily acts of love which religion inspires only multiply when we protect the freedom to express and act on core beliefs." This is the cause.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland said, "We might sometimes want to run away from where we are, but we can never run away from _______."

Elder Larry S. Kacher, of the Seventy, taught, "Unbelief blocks our ability to see ________, whereas a mindset of faith in the Savior unlocks the powers of heaven."

Elder Dale G. Renlund shared these 4 truths found in the first line of the Young Women theme.

Elder Eduardo Gavarret, of the Seventy, taught the importance of having a mighty change of heart. He listed these five ways members can know their hearts are changing.
What are: 1) When they want to please God in all things, 2) treat others with love, 3) assimilate the attributes of Christ, 4) feel the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and 5) by keeping the commandments?
