Sister Burton told of a young family who moved into a new house. What did the father do to keep his children safe, and how did the children respond?
The father couldn't afford a real fence, so he drove some wooden stakes in the ground around the edges of the yard and tied a string around them. He showed the string to his children and told them that if they would stay on the inside of the string, they would be safe. The children obeyed even when a ball had bounced over the string and into the street.
