Assessments should focus on this rather than grades based on the 100-point scale.
What is the mastery of the skill?
The emphasis should be on assessing the mastery of the skill: Exceeding Mastery (EM) = A; Mastery (M) = B; Approaching Mastery (AM) = C; Developing Mastery (DM) = D.
