This Fantasy Adventure series initially started as a video game, but has grown into the largest media franchise in the world. The series follows a number of 10(-13)-year-olds who travel across a region, capturing creatures and battling with them.
Pokemon
A genre of non-fiction that explores a person's lived experiences, often in the form of a memoir, biography, or diary.
Life
A genre of fiction that focuses on high-energy, fast paced events. Often, stories told in this genre include things such as fights, sports, or car chases.
Action
A genre of fiction that typically explores the development of mostly-realistic characters that deal with high-stakes emotional, moral, and social conflicts.
Drama
This Dystopian Science-Fiction novel series tells the story of a future in which the government hosts an annual event that forces 24 children to fight to the death on live television.
The Hunger Games
This Fantasy novel series features a young boy who discovers he is a famous wizard. The series follows the boy and his close friends as they encounter various evil wizards (and attempt to graduate school).
