This gameplay style requires players to remain calm on a hard level to not choke. This type of gameplay is usually featured in long and difficult levels.

This type of gameplay uses the music to perfectly align clicks and jumps. This also helps players get past certain parts.

This editor feature allows players to change an object's dimension and shape via drag points on the object's borders.
This player is the one of the most popular GD YouTubers out there for making criticism videos while still keeping the videos entertaining. Their influence has caused some new memes (yes there are memes in a square jumping game) to conjure up and become popular.

This main list level is the hardest level the creator has made; being filled with almost every gamemode, with the exception of the Spider and Swing gamemode.
What is Deadlocked?
This gameplay style requires players to visually read upcoming gameplay to know how to get past it while playing. Usually common in strong, fast paced levels.
What is sightreading?
This editor object allows players to spawn other triggers and objects when passing it. This object also helps (if you know how to use it) make really complicated mechanics and programs (yes, people have made programs in the GD editor).
What is the Spawn Trigger?
This object allows players to switch gravity directions (there are two). If they are going downward gravity (default), they will switch gravity directions upon entering the portal. If they are going upward gravity, they will switch to downward gravity upon entering the portal.
What is the green gravity portal?
This player became popular for their level showcases without the use of hacks.

This custom level challenges the player with heavy memorization throughout the whole level. The ending features one of the most popular randomization sections in all of GD.
What is Limbo?
This type of gameplay requires players to practice a level to remember the entirety of it, and know what to do. Usually common in levels where there are multiple paths, and the correct is not laid out for you.
What is memorization gameplay?
This player was the top 1 in the game back then for a long time. However, the player Cyclic has dethroned them multiple times during that period. The player soon quit the game out of frustration with the community's assumptions of them being a hacker.

This editor feature allows players to filter the objects to a specific one, so that when selecting a group of objects, the editor would only select that specific object and not the others.
What is Select Filter?
This player is thought to be the best player in the game for their accomplishments and staying top 1 on the demon list.

This type of gameplay (featured in Congregation) requires players to perfectly time their clicks to pass obstacles.
