******DOUBLE JEOPARDY******

If you need to see Mrs. Joseph, what should you do?

I ask my teacher for a "rock form".  The rock form asks for my name, teacher's name, and date.  I check off whether it is a "small, medium, or large" rock.

I can also tell my mom or dad that I would like to speak with the school counselor and my parent can contact the school counselor.

200

Name one thing a school counselor can NOT keep confidential.

If you tell me someone is being bullied, hurting themselves, or planning to hurt someone else.  This is a safety issue, therefore, I need to share in order that no one is harmed.

200

Your school counselor is the only person you should speak to about your problems.

No, I can also speak with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and teachers.

What are two ways I can overcome being nervous?

Get to know someone in my class.

Be prepared.  Deep breaths, close eyes, relax.

Get enough sleep the night before school.

Remember, if you are feeling nervous about school, chances are other kids in your class might be, too!

DOUBLE JEOPARDY

One of these statements is not true:

I have three sisters.

I went on a cruise this summer to Alaska.

My dad turned 88 over the summer.

The false statement is that I went on a cruise to Alaska this summer.  I did go on a cruise, but it was to the Bahamas.  My friend went to Alaska!
