Oh no! You borrowed a CD from your friend and it accidentally got scratched! The CD was obviously expensive, what should you do to show good character? a. Buy the same CD with your allowance and give it to your friend like nothing happened b. Why lie to your friend? Tell her that you scratched the CD, but promise that you will give him/her the money to buy a new one c. Don't do anything and return the CD scratched. Just for good measure, tell her that you got the CD, scratched from him/her. Your friend will never know!
A and B were both good answers, but really try to shoot for answer B. C is just a bad idea! First you ruined his/her CD, but lying on top of it isn't going to do any good. Show your honesty to your friend and that's how you'll become closer.

Finally! The day comes when your you get to baby-sit your Aunt's dog, Prince, for a month! But she never told you that Prince could do back flips! You take Prince for a walk at the park and as a happy coincidence, your friends are there just in time to see Prince do his best back flip yet! Your friends think that Prince is really your dog, and you play along. After a long two weeks of pretending that Prince is yours, you start to feel a little guilty. You want to show good character by being honest to your friends, but you just can't get your self to do it. Is it time that you should spill the beans?
If you want to show good character, definitely spill the beans! Your friends probably don't care who owns Prince, they just care that he is very talented and fun. just as well, your friends will still be impressed that you are baby-sitting such a cool dog.
