Most are elected; Juvenile judge is appointed, Magistrate can be either.
What is the difference between a right and a responsibility?
A responsibility is something you are responsible to do as a Georgia citizen: there are consequences. A right is something that you have the opportunity to do certain things.

Gov: proposes state budget, recommends new laws, chief executive of executive branch
Lt. Gov: President of the Senate, takes over incase something happens to Governor

Delinquent is when a juvenile commits a crime that would be considered a crime if an adult did the same. Murder, arson, theft
Unruly is when a juvenile does something that would not be considered a crime if an adult committed. Truancy, breaking curfew, possession of alcohol
What are the similarities between the U.S. and Ga State Constitution?
They both have a Bill of rights and outline the structure of the government.

To administer programs and enforce laws.
What are the qualifications for the Senate and the House of Representatives?
Senate: 25 yrs old, Resident of Georgia for two years, Resident of the district for at least one year, and U. S. citizen.
House: 21 yrs old, Resident of Georgia for two years, Resident of the district for at least one year, and U. S. citizen.
What are some of the rights given to juveniles?
Right to an attorney, right to have a parent or guardian present, right not to have their names or photographs made public, right to two phone calls (parent and attorney), right to not self-incriminate, right not to be placed with adult offenders, and right for parents to be contacted immediately.
